Huawei expects international sales to drop by up to 60% after the US trade ban

Huawei and US trade war is going to affect many stakeholders but it seems that Huawei's marketing and sales is going to decrease across the globe. Sales manages are preparing for a massive decline in smartphone sales following the US trade ban. Experts are forecasting something between 40% and 60% fewer shipments worldwide.
Huawei is also making the number of its employees shorter in some region like in Pakistan due to upcoming low sales of its smartphones.

The sales managers will be continually monitoring the demand in different markets and adjust shipments accordingly, but estimates are for a drop between 40 to 60 million units in sales. Moreover, Honor will be monitoring its sales and could discontinue the Honor 20-series before they even launch in most markets. That is not a good sign for Huawei in market.

The company will try to offset the decline in sales by targeting half of China's smartphone market in 2019 while company's chief executive said that the US restrictions would only slow down Huawei's growth every so slightly.

Huawei is trying to developing and launching its own Operating system, but it will take time to grow among smart phone users.
